These scarfs by Juliette Vergne, textile designer, are amazing. The patterns, the colors and the fabrics are gorgeous and I like the fact that everything is handmade, it adds some much personality ! Juliette Vergne is also collaborating with Hape, and the collection is beautiful too.

C’EST COOL #12 – Maison & Objet 2016 Favorites

M&O-01

Again this year, I had the opportunity to go to the Maison & Objet fair in Paris with my Mom. We spent 4 very tiring days, walking down the aisles, to see the new collections of brands we already know but to get to know new brands as well. It was of course worth it because we got to meet amazing people and discover beautiful brands. It’s always really enjoyable because, for the smaller brands, you often meet the creator / founder and you can talk about his/her work, process, I find it so inspiring and uplifting ! That is why I wanted to share with you my favorite ones.

+Tine K Home
I stumbled upon this Danish brand on the internet ( it is not widely distributed in France yet) through her owner home tour of her apartment in Majorque.
This place was the main inspiration for the collection, you find the beautiful cement tiles, the bamboo furnitures, the rattan, and the soft textiles.

+ Tensira
This brand makes gorgeous fabrics in West Africa and sells pillows, throws, quilts, and bags. I love the thread of their fabrics and their beautiful shades of indigo blue. The band has also done a collaboration with Inès de la Fressange, and it is, obviously, very chic.

+ Jamini
I love Jamini, this parisian brand takes its inspiration in colorful Indian fabrics and patterns and creates pillows, scarves and printed bags. They have two shops in Paris that are little jewels and are definitely worth a trip.

Chabi Chic offers tableware with modern decor, a beauty line with a very nice packaging and colorful baskets. It makes me want to take a plane to Marrakesh right away !

+ La Belle Mèche
I was immediately drawn to these candles, made in France, and with a very “pantone” color-code. Especially, because scented candles can be a bit dull or too high-end. All of the scents (yes, I smelled them all) are really good, my favorite is “Cèdre Poivré” (Peppery Cedar wood). However, they told me their bestseller is Tomato & Basil !

C’EST COOL #11 – CHRISTMAS

This week feels already like Christmas and I wanted to share with you some inspiration for the days to come. Christmas is my favorite holiday, I love spending time with my family, looking for the perfect gift, printing nice cards, thinking about our Christmas Eve menu, decorating my home with garlands, candles and wreaths. The big day always comes too quickly.

+ Candles to illuminate your evenings
The days are getting darker and darker and I like to light up some candles at the end of the afternoon. It is also traditional to do an Advent wreath with 4 candles each symbolizing a week before Christmas. You light them up as the weeks go by, one each sunday.
